Rose Mary's School of Dance was established in 1988. The main objective of the studio is to provide quality dance instruction in a non-competitive environment. This is achieved through positive reinforcement and a "can do" approach to teaching. This system helps the student gain self-esteem, self-confidence and self-discipline. All classes are carefully geared to the age and ability of the students in the classes. Class sizes are limited to ensure personal attention to all of the students. All classes are currently taught by Rose Mary Buchholz. Dance Training Rose Mary received her dance training at the Hannah Kroner School of Dance. She has taken various dance classes in New York City. She was a performer with the Long Island Ballet Theatre of Winchester in production of "The Nutcracker Suite," and "Sleeping Beauty." She also performed various parts in several smaller ballets the company produced. She was one of the dancers in a local production of "No, No, Nanette," and "The Roar of the Greasepaint and the Smell of the Crowd." Teaching Experience Her teaching experience includes several years teaching at studios located in Queens, New York. She also conducted an "After School Dance Program" in the Queens Public School District sponsored by the YMCA. She also teaches classes for the Delaware Valley Adult and Continuing Education Program. She is a member of the Professional Dance Teachers Association. Image Tour of the Studio Office
